About Us

Vistara was founded by Australians Tom and Claudia, who moved to Bali over six years ago and have since built a life, family, and growing portfolio of properties on the island. With backgrounds spanning business, branding, marketing, design, and hospitality, they saw an opportunity to approach villa development and management with more intention, structure, quality standards and creativity.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in International Business and Marketing. His early career was spent working in advertising in London before returning to Australia, where he founded and directed several businesses over more than 15 years. His strengths lie in strategy, operations, finance, and long-term business growth.

With a background in Marketing, Claudia brings extensive experience across media, production, advertising and senior brand management. She has contributed to well-known Australian brands including R.M.Williams, Supré, House of Quirky and OK! Magazine, developing strong expertise in creative direction, brand strategy and customer experience.

Together, they created Vistara to blend Western business standards with the beauty, culture and craftsmanship of Bali, across both villa development and villa management. Their approach focuses on thoughtful design, strong systems, and meaningful partnerships with a talented local team.
